G12 Life Group Notes– December 09, 2012 – 6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux __ Open in Prayer Song Testimonies Prayer of Three Witnessing Receive Offering Renewing of the Mind “You can’t allow other’s immaturity to be a device” Dr. Phillip G. Goudeaux Romans 8:5-7 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. • When the enemy is attacking, his objective is two deaths: (mental and physical) • Don’t be shocked, the carnal mind is against (enmity=hatred, hostile) GOD • Whatever is lacking in your life is a sign of a mind not renewed in that area • Have a confession list and speak it every day • This gives credence because you’re diligently applying yourself • Memorize the Word of God • When your mind is renewed - your faith is strong • Whatever you abundantly put in - will abundantly come out • Prayer is important - Nothing gets done without prayer • There is accomplishment when you pray Romans 8:8-13 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. • The flesh cannot please GOD • So the lack of renewing of the mind - the fleshlier you are • Verse 13 – mortify=put to death (body and mind) Create an environment for renewing of the mind for change 1. Desire for change (have a passion to move ahead) 2. Have a readiness to act (faith demands action) 3. Church attendance – by doing more, you determine the level of continual growth; Jesus did. Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together 4. Goudeaux Luke 11: 14-15 15 And he said, A certain man had two sons: And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in the land; and he began to be in want • This is when things began to change after he spent all he had. Then the famine came. • When you are going in the wrong direction, satan wants to keep you going in that same direction Luke 11: 18-31 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father; I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, I am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of the hired servants. And when he arose, and came to his father. but when he was yet a great way off his father saw him and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son came unto him, father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to the servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. V 30-31 As soon as this thy son has come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said unto hi, son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. • The key to restoration/renewing of the mind, is admitting. • He came to himself! And he received the Spirit of recognition • Failing to recognize, is one of the things that keep people back in life • When positive transformation occurs, you’re headed to something great • It’s a you issue, not your father”. Focus on you. • Both sons in the same house, both minds were not renewed • One left home and wasted his inheritance – The other one failed to recognize his inheritance • Both had the same advantage –But different sphere • An unrenewed mind will keep you away from everything that is good • We must keep the process ( renewing of the mind) growing • One son had it but didn’t recognize it – Many love God but do not recognize everything that is available to them • Instead they settle to just strive without taking authority • When your mind is unrenewed you have no comprehension of the love that the father has for you Points to create an environment for Renewing of your mind: 1. Desire to change – how strong is yours? The strength of it determines how fast you renew your mind. Desire defined– “crave for”. Whatever you crave will move you in that direction. It stimulates you to reach beyond. Desire starts you on the road to transformation. 2. Readiness to act. – Make a commitment to read a few scriptures, commit to the renewing of the mind and it will thrust you forward. 3. Church attendance – It’s crucial. It’s a part of renewing the mind. Its helps in the process to come and hear the word.(Your men and women also). 4. Studing the word – Hebrews’ 4:12 the word is quick … to the dividing of soul and spirit. 5. Praying regularly – Pray the word, God obligates himself to the word only. Pastor Goudeaux’s recommendation: Get the book “prayers avail much” Read it twice a day Personalize it Be tenacious about praying Ask for Prayer Requests Close in Prayer

What is the most important thing the lost need? “Salvation” 2. After Salvation, what is the most important thing that you need as a believer? “The renewing of the mind” Matthew 6: 25-34 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof Notice how many times he told us to “take no thought” • Verse 25……Take no thought • Verse 27……Which of you by taking thought • Verse 28……And why take ye thought • Verse 31……Therefore take no thought • Verse 34……Take therefore no thought • God continues to tell us to take no thought because obviously it is possible for us to take thought Proverbs 23:7 7For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. • The heart here represents the soul or the suke’(not the spirit) • Your thoughts are derived from your mind G12 Life Group Notes – October 14, 2012 – 05:30 p.m. Pastor Goudeaux(Con’t) Romans 12:2 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. • You must be transformed by the renewing of the mind • Men/women don’t think they conform • The law of the lid “There were flea’s that were placed in a jar. Normally they are able to jump 18-24 inches, however the jar was 10 inches high and had a lid on it. After putting the fleas in there for a while they just were only to jump the 10 inches because that is where the top of lid stopped. So although they had potential to do more, they were capped to 10 inches. The interesting thing is that their children/next generation would not jump any higher even without the lid being off” Philippians 2:5 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: • It says, “Let” so you must let it if it is to be in you • There are some people you try to teach but they won’t “let” it be in them • “Work harder on yourself than you do on your job” Mark 5:15 15And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. • The man was clothed and in his right mind after deliverance • Satan is after your mind • He will use your parents, close friends, authority figures and others in order to capture your thoughts 2 Corinthians 10:5 5Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; • You must cast down those imaginations • Deal with any negative self-images that you have of yourself …Do you see yourself unworthy, always going through etc. • Don’t let someone else’s opinion of you become your reality • You must arrest thoughts yourself Proverbs 4:23 23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life • You keep your heart • Your mind is your greatest asset • You must take possession of your own mind Ask for Prayer Requests Close in Prayer

Ephesians 4:13,16-key scripture. Til we should all attain the unity of the faith and knowledge of God’s son, reaching maturity, reaching the full measure of development which belong to the fullness of Christ 14. Instead of remaining immature, blown from off course, and swayed by every passing wind of doctrine (drifters). By the adrointness of men who are dexterous and devising error. Who are to hold by the truth and by our love to grow up (Hebrews 6:1-3 message))wholly into Him. For He Christ is the head and under Him as the entire body is well together and compacted by every joint which with it is supplied the do activity of each part enables the body to grow and build itself up in love. Moffatt translation ASSIMILATION DEFINED: Church Assimilation is the task of moving people from an awareness of the church to attendance at church to active membership in the church Assimilation=to take in and incorporate as ones own; to absorb, to bring in Assimilation = Incorporation, bonding, joining, and assimilating Physiology definition: to convert ( food) to substances suitable for incorporation into body and it's tissues. Transform-to change in form, appearance, or structure, to convert Both concepts body and building occurring together emphasize the key idea of growth. Core (lay leaders) Acts 2:41-12 Acts 6:1-6, Acts 15:28-29 • Assimilation is as old as the church • There were difficulties associated with assimilation since the beginning of the church • We assimilate people when we help them to acquire similar knowledge, similar attitudes, towards Christ and His church, similar feelings of belonging, and similar patterns of behavior. • Churches have not been diligent in their efforts to incorporate new people. • Future congregations need strong entry processes. • Very little knowledge of religion or Christianity is necessary. • Must set aside time and energy for first class attention. “Sanctification”

“The level you trust/have faith in God is the level God will promote you” Dr. Goudeaux

I Thessalonians 5:21-23
21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Sanctify you wholly
• You must work on keeping your spirit (interchangeable with your heart) under control
• This is the renewing of the mind (strongholds, wrong thoughts…)

Proverbs 25:28
28He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

• Having no rule over your own spirit (mind)
• That’s what is trying to put restrictions on you
• People are where they are because of their ignorance and lack of control
• Anyone can act like a “donkey”, but how many people can control them self?
• Without control, there is no defense against any enemy
• Control is discipline (which is applying what you have learned)
• Commit to the right thing as you hear it
• “A city without walls” equals “lack of self-control” Dr. Goudeaux

I Corinthians 9:25-27
25And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

• Your Christian walk is a continuous fight
• If you don’t fight, the walls will be broken down
• You can be of honor or dishonor
• The only way the enemy can get to you is when you do not obey God

“Don’t complain about the mosquitoes when you have the windows down!” Dr. Goudeaux

Proverbs 16:32
32He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city..

• Ruleth his spirit (control your life)

G12 Life Group Notes– April 01,2012– 6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Cont’)__

Proverbs 14:29
29He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

• Slow to wrath shows control
• “A quick tempered person stockpiles stupidity” (Message translation)
• Work on lining yourself up with the Word and then teach it
• Stay on a continuous growth cycle
• Your success in a Christian Life depends on how you control your flesh and mind
• You must continue to measure your self according to the standard of Christ
• And not the standard of Man

Hebrews 5:11-12
11And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, 12And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
.
• Dull of hearing
• People overestimate themselves - Do a self-evaluation
• Are you obedient to God? – To your brethren? – Is your walk righteous?
• This is what causes growth
• Working on one muscle group causes deformity (big arms but small shoulders)
• You must have a desire to keep growing
• “No evaluation” equals “No control”

I Corinthians 3:1-3 (Read Amplified)
1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3For ye are yet carnal: for hereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

• “Carnal” equals “Meathead” (all flesh)

James 3:13-16
13Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

• Verse sixteen is the result of being out of control

How you handle the lack of man’s recognition in favor of God’s - Will determine a major moment in your life. Your life is to serve people. It’s not about titles, it’s about obeying God

“Being Prepared To Do Kingdom Work”

I Thessalonians 5:23
23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

• Sanctify – separate, consecrate, purify, cleanse
• It is a process aimed toward your completion
• Pastor Goudeaux should not have to call you to fast, pray, and witness
• There is greater works that come thru sanctification
• There are seasons of separation and sanctification
• God wants your participation

John 17:17
17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

• The Word of God
• Download only the Word – Study and meditate
• It’s the truth that you know that sets you free

Ephesians 5:26
26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

• The word cleanses you
• Not the newspaper, cable, radio, social internet media, etc.

Joel 1:14
14Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,

• Fast – to abstain from food, TV, sex, etc.
• Humbles you
• Causes you to rely upon God
• You become more dependent and appreciative
• Brings intervention of God
• When was the last time you fast without someone asking you to ?

Joel 2:16-17, 28-29
16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? 28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

• Intersession
• The results of intercession and fasting is
• A greater measure of the Spirit poured out
• You must allow God to minister to you before you try to minister to others
• Sanctification – Causes greater results in witnessing, G-12 ministry and marriages
• Proper sanctification brings prevention of crises
• You choose the level of Vessel of Honor you are by what you do
• God is looking for seekers and cravers
• It is not a burden, It is a lifestyle - Self-denial should be a part of the lifestyle

Hebrew 3:1
1Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

• You are sanctified by the Blood of Jesus
• You are sanctified by the words of your confession
• You remind God – Devil – Yourself thru confession
• You give God license to work on your behalf thru your words

“Bold…Even more!”
““When the fish aren’t biting, change the tactic!” Dr. Goudeaux

Ephesians 3:12
12In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
• Boldness is already present
• You just have to exercise it (develop it)
• The more you exercise it…the bolder you will become
• Paul became even bolder
• He saw how zealous he was for the devil
• So he became even bolder for Christ and wrote 14 books of the bible

Ephesians 6:19
19And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

• Paul was committed to boldness

Acts 2:4
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

• We are still writing the book of Acts
• What is the difference from then to now?
• The emphasis is removed from the Holy Spirit
• A continual backsliding of the boldness and the Holy Spirit
Here are three points that you need in your life
1. Get them saved
2. Baptized
3. Filled
• That anchors them for a more committed life
• Then get them to be a witness (cause them to be bold)

Acts 2:1
1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
• GOD was bringing forth change (establish church through his son)
• Christ (salvation) left then Holy Spirit came
• Holy Spirit has a different functions

I Corinthians 12:4, 12
4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
• Diversities of gifts and the same Spirit
• Just like Pastor is Husband, Grandpa/Dad and Boss
• To limit GOD with one function is a travesty
• Underline all of “same Spirit(s)”, dividing severally as He will
• The body has more than one function but it’s the same body. By one Spirit
• By one Spirit, we’re baptized into one body

G12 Life Group Notes– March 04, 2012– 6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Cont’)_

Acts 2:12, 14
12And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

• Outpouring of Holy Spirit was already done
• The disciples were cowards until filled
• Peter became bold and started preaching
• Pray –That as opportunity come, you don’t miss
• Boldness with the supernatural

Acts 2:37- 41
37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three housand souls.

• Peter preached a message to these Sadducees, Pharisees and Sanhedrin council
• Peter said “repent and be baptized”
• Be aware baptism does Not come before salvation
• Verse.39 is the answer to Verse 38
• The promise is to everybody who wants it
• Verse 41: “In the same day 3,000 souls was saved “

Jews believed in GOD but didn’t know Jesus (most still don’t). For identifying of self for death, burial and resurrection. Don’t get caught up in dogmas. No heaven without accepting Christ. The Blood is the only thing that saves us. Now Peter was a preaching machine saying “Save Yourself”. Salvation is an on-going process, which is not watching, listening, and talking what I shouldn’t be. (notice this didn’t happen until somebody got bold). Holy Spirit came; they got baptized, boldness, supernatural, and then came the people

Acts 3:1, 5-10
1Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 5And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

• Laid at gate (38-40 years
• People were going into the temple and no one had boldness or was filled
• But, when boldness comes into contact with a need
• The need will be transferred into manifestations
• That’s why your enemy fears you
• Expectation was present
• Taking him by the hand was boldness
• “And immediately his feet / ankles received strength”

“Aggressively Bold”
“You must go out and witness,- Deliberately go out to witness just like fasting.
You carry the anointing everywhere you go” Dr. Goudeaux

Matthew 11:11, 12
11Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force

• Least is greater (our position)
• Verse 12- Aggressive boldness defined…
• Forcefully advancing through violent people attacking
• You must get things done
• But this can only be accomplished by the Supernatural
• Time is of the urgency, people need Christ
• Satan fears/trembles at your position
• Division is satan’s greatest device
• Signs/Wonders are GOD’s greatest miracle

Acts 4:5-8,10,13,23,32
5And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes, 6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. 7And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? 8Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, 10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. 23And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. 29And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word32And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

• (Underline by what power/authority) - vs. 5-7
• They start recognizing when you start doing
• Controlled by Holy Spirit – vs. 8
• Peter was operating with great boldness
• That was bold and aggressive - Walking in love and wisdom but still bold – vs. 10
• Peter could have been put to death – vs. 13
• A bold aggressive manner
• Behold their threatening, signs and wonders that were done - vs. 23, 29
• Aggressive boldness is when oneness comes about - vs. 32
G12 Life Group Notes– February 18,2012– 6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Cont’)__

Acts 5:1-15
11And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. 12And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. 13And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. 14And believers were the more added to the Lord, ultitudes both of men and women.) 15Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them…….
.
• When operating with boldness the Gifts of the Spirit become active – vs. 11
• Another level of boldness was achieved - vs.12
• When boldness occurs men and women are added
• Be careful of the flesh rising up when operating in boldness
• Always operate in/under the Spirit of GOD
• Be aware that the Church is still in the book of Acts
• These signs/wonders would be occurring if you were operating in boldness
• The church has become traditionalized - So the power of GOD can’t manifest

Acts 19:2-6, 8, 11,12
2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. 8And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. 11And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

• Laying on of hands
• Some received their healing because of their perception/belief
• Don’t be intimidated - Be bold!
• Speak boldly concerning the Kingdom of GOD

Mark 6:56
56And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

• The power of GOD is real
• He will use you if you are bold
• He wants to take you to another level with your boldness

“Boldness & Not Ashamed”

Ephesians 3:12
12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by faith of him.

• Powerful words to focus on:
Boldness - Access - Confidence (by faith of Him)
• Memorize and Confess

Philippians 1:19, 20
19For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

• KJV and Amplified read: Paul said “I know…”
• Paul was steadfast and bold while he was under fire
• Sometimes, you have to go through the storm to build character
• Some stay in the storm because they don’t learn from it

Romans 1:16
16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

• Understand the culture at the time
• Jesus was thought to be a criminal, false prophet...
• Paul had changed (Damascus road) and started embracing Jesus
• So Paul was being questioned about now following Jesus
• For I am not ashamed was a bold statement

Romans 9:33
33As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
.
• “When shame comes, boldness goes” Dr. Goudeaux
• Shame does not want you to be bold
• Shame will have you question yourself

No intimidation allowed. [Jackson family example given] GOD will give you the opportunity to be unashamed with someone (group) that opposes Him. Unashamed people speak with a different spirit and anointing. Make a commitment to be unashamed.

G12 Life Group Notes– January 29,2012– 6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Cont’)__

1 Peter 4:16
16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

• When going through - Don’t be ashamed
• Knowing you have hope and expectation

1 John 2:28
28And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

• You shall not be ashamed of His coming

Matthew 11:11, 12
11Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force

• John the Baptist was great - But if we exercise our authority (boldness) we are regarded as greater than him
• When you operate in that area - Then you move from unrighteous to the righteous
• Right standing in Christ Jesus
• When regarded as righteous - Means you are a covenant person
• “Violent take it by force” is an aggressive authority
• Understanding who you are - Secures you in handling the pressures

Luke 10:17-20
17And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

• Your name written in the book of life, should give you the boldness and confidence to speak

Matthew 11:1-5
• John was in prison (then head was cut off)
• Jesus then attacked (by witnessing to others)
• You have to be aggressive when attacks are coming, you attack back

Jude 23
23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh
• When you see other Christians compromising themselves - Go after them
• You have a responsibility not to kill the wounded
• You should go back and snatch them out of hell’s fire
• This act is an: Aggressive - Violent Boldness !

“Order in your life and in your Home”

1 Corinthians 14:40 John 6:1

• Watch your feelings while you go through the process of getting in order

• You must not get offended just because you get corrected

• Something is going to happen in your life that has never happen before

• Examine yourself - Make sure you are in order

• Anybody can get married - But can they stay married?

• Anybody can start a Church - But are they qualified - You have to be qualified to keep it going

• Order means = A condition, regular arrangement, mandate, demand, setting in sequence

• When things are out of order, there is no miracle - That is why we need order

• When things are out of sequence - You can not believe God for a miracle

• You have to be in God’s order to receive: His increase and His favor - Order runs with favor

• Favor will increase supernaturally this year as you work on order in your life

• God established marriage before Church – That’s why the enemy fights to destroy families

• Order is God’s plan - If anything big is going to happen in your life, it will be wrapped in order

• Marriage is between a man and a woman - “Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing”

• The husband has the authority - so the wife must keep her perspective

• It not always easy with the various women groups telling her she does not have to submit

• God ordained marriage, not the women groups - God set marriages in order and the family too

• Activists are saying - Where do you stand on gay rights?

• There are all kinds of individuals in the church

• Homosexual individuals, prostitutes, drug users, alcoholics
• Some are still using or involved but they are in the deliverance stages
• Everyone has come short - The question is - Do you want to come up higher?
• Order is a man and a woman in a marriage - The enemy will attack that order
• If pastor was a candidate for president – He would tell the people it is all about order
• The reason America is a leading country - It was founded on order
• Remember, Rome was attacked from the inside
• A minute of favor can change your life - Order precede favor and it precedes the anointing
• A woman must assist her husband - It is the order of the marriage that brings the increase
• Men think on the right side of the brain - Women think on the left side of the brain
• When a man listens to his wife - He has a full brain
• Jehovah Jireh wants to show up for His people - But order has to be set first
• Order demands all the promises to come upon you - Examine yourself - Are you in order?
• You can be out of order in your talk , your actions, your family, with friends -No order no favor
• Jesus had order - He had the disciple to set all the men down -Then the miracle came
• The woman will follow the man - It is men who have the problem with authority
• What released the miracle was the order - Living in order prevents error in your life
• Order eliminates stress, worry and care in your life - God will never promote disorder
• Joseph would not compromise the order - Sex before marriage was disorder
• When you get out of order, you get heartbreak - Joseph got increase and favor
• The husband supports the wife - The wife supports the children - Stay focus - Stay committed
• If you lose your authority and your order - Saying “I’m sorry” will not get it back
• You have to get back in order - Don’t let anything distract you - Stay in order
