G12 Meeting Sunday (12/27/2009) 6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux

Decision-Change-Transition-Transformation

• For people going through the change process, it is about changing the heart and mind.
• Until people go through the process, they are in a stage of wandering, like the children of Israel.
• Some people are changed for Sunday, but go back to their same old ways during the rest of the week.
• It is easier to get someone born again than making a disciple.
• There are different levels of warfare: 1) getting someone saved, 2) getting us to witness, and 3) getting someone to go through the process.
• We must not only think of conversion, but getting people through the process.

Hebrews 10:32

• If you are locked in, you still have a great fight.
• If a man/woman that has been pulled out of the world does not go through the process, Satan will use the old lifestyle to try to bring them back. Satan wars like hell to prevent them from becoming a disciple.
• If you are not discipleship minded, the devil will use someone to try to take you back into the world.
• There is a great fight of affliction after illumination.

Revelation 12:17

We are the remnant. Satan hates the woman because she gives birth to the seed.

Genesis 3: 12-15

• The serpent originally walked upright. His hands and feet were taken by God.
• Once people make a decision to get saved, the warfare begins.
• Most people that get saved don’t make it through the process because there is not enough discipleship.
• The number of people that go out and witness is small and even a smaller number will disciple.
• Satan wants to keep us complacent. We must go into fasting and break the spirit of complacency.

Romans 7:23

• Your flesh still desires worldly things.
• The enemy does not want us to be productive.
• Once a decision is made to change, the war is on.
• We must understand what we are NOT doing, and what satan IS doing.

Matthew 12:43-45

• The blood cleaned the house.
• The person that God saved, when there is no one to disciple them, is attacked by the enemy.
• Satan is determined that they will not be saved and will attack them harder and try to make them worse off than they initially were.

Ephesians 6:10-11

• Wile means strategy, trickery, and craftiness. Wiles relates to a road that is traveled on to attack your emotions and attitudes.
• The attacks continue until we are committed to discipleship.
• The power of his might is God’s word.
• It is not the amount of word ”know.” But word “activated”.

Decision-Change-Transition-Transformation
• You cannot have any of the steps in the process out of order.
• We must be men/women of honor.
• The test of life is when people survive the attacks of satan.
• In order to get to transformation, you must go through the process.
• Change starts the process of transition.
• Transition takes place on the inside. Change takes place on the outside.
• Renewing of the mind has to take place in order for transition to take place. It takes time to get from decision to transition.

Ephesians 4:18 - 23
• Satan’s job is to alienate and keep your understanding darkened.
• If a man/woman makes a decision to receive Christ in their life, it is satan’s job
to alienate them from what God has for them.
• Verse 22 – once you make a decision for Christ, change is going to take place. However, there is a lot of baggage that you have that you cannot take with you. Satan tries to get you to keep the baggage that God has said you must get rid of.
• We must help brothers/sisters through transition because that is where satan fights the hardest.
• He knows people are watching you and he does not want you to be victorious.
• Satan opposes transformation, so he fights transition.
• That is where G-12 come in. G-12 helps men/women through transition to get them to transformation.
• The new man is not going to be put on without a fight.

Numbers 13: 1,2; 26-32
• The land of Canaan represented transformation or where God wanted to take the children of Israel.
• The biggest obstacle to transformation is a lack of vision.
• Verse 26, 27- God was trying to give them vision to help them through transformation.
• The percentage of people successfully making it through transformation without vision is very small.
• Verse 28-31 – God never told them they had to fight. God was able to take them out of Egypt, so he could certainly handle the Canaanites.
• The biggest hindrance to transformation is what you are focused on.
• You must see yourself victorious, winning, conquering, overcoming, etc.
• You must be able to see things as God sees it.
• Only 2 men out of 3 million people could see what God had for them.
• Anything put out to stop you, is put out there by satan.
• You can’t move forward if you are looking out the rear view mirror.
• If you could really see it, nothing would stop you.
• You would fight through all obstacles.
• However, you cannot get there taking all of your baggage with you.
• If you know the why, you can endure the what.
• If I can see it, God knows I can have it
• Transition takes place on the inside and it take place from the renewing of your mind.
• That is why life groups, closed cells, and the encounter are so important.
• Verse 31 - God did not tell the children of Israel to look at the inhabitants.
• Anything that goes against your transformation is an evil report.
• From verse 31 to verse 32, the report got worst. The enemy will magnify the opposition.
• Grasshopper Complex – “defeats you from the inside.
• Enemies are really unnecessary since you choose to become your own worst enemy because you allow the complex in you.” –Pastor Goudeaux,

I Cor 10:13
• If you are going through transition, God will give you a break from temptation, but you must still pass the test.
• The greatest hindrance to transformation is vision. If you cannot see it, you will always be stuck in change.

 We should expect a greater anointing on our lives.
 People have minds that have not been renewed. Therefore, you cannot take them where they need to go.

Decision-Change-Transition-Transformation

• You should not be saved for many years and not know anything.
• Some time in prayer is not enough. Prayer is important, but we must apply the transition process to prayer.
• G12 with prayer helps take men/women to victory.
• There is a saying “Work like it’s all up to you and pray like it’s all up to God.”
• A spirit of selfishness puts God on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th burner.
• Some men/women will not move to the level of greatness until they get through the process of transition.
• We need to get off our butts!
• The renewal of our mind is necessary to get through the transition process.

Hosea 4:6
6My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

• Our minds must be renewed.
• Some time we reject knowledge with excuses. This occurs when our priorities are mixed up.
• We must show patience when helping people go through the transition process.
• Satan fights our forward progress.
• We don’t know all of the struggles that Satan threw at the children of Israel after they left Egypt that caused them to deviate from the plan that God had for them.
• We are here to keep men/women focused and on track.

Isaiah 5:13
13Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

• Satan fights men/women from making a commitment to God.
• Our priority should be to move forward to God.
• God wants us to be educated in the Word (renewal of the mind).
• You can be a good man/woman. Good and ignorant.
• We have a responsibility to the world to help save those that are lost.
• We should have our 144. We need to take our responsibility to another level.

G12 Life Group Notes–December 13, 2009–6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Pg 2 of 2)

Hebrew 5:11-14
11Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

• We should be matured.
• Dull of hearing refers to lack of perception or recognition. It also refers to being slow to learn. This goes back to the renewing of our minds. We must have growth in our spiritual lives.
• When you should be at an advanced stage of knowledge, you find yourself in kindergarten instead of college.
• If we understood righteousness, we would understand why we need to grow up.
• We should read the Bible each day, just like we should exercise each day.

I Corinthians 3:1-3
1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

• The scripture talks about our spiritual man being unable to handle certain things because of immaturity.
• When you are too immature you are easily offended and easily get into strife.
• The carnal nature still dominates. That is why prayer cannot be the only thing we utilize.
• We must help people through the transition process.
• We must be consistent with our open cell and closed cell.
• We must be growing and feeding ourselves.
• God cannot fully use a carnal spiritual babe when that person has so many issues themselves.

 We must take time to win souls.
 This month (December), people are more open to receive Christ because of the Christmas season.
 Friendship Sunday, December 20, is an opportunity to reach out to friends, neighbors, and relatives.

Decision-Change-Transition-Transformation
• Most people get to the second level.
• Many make decisions to change.
• There is often no one to take them through transition to bring about transformation.
• Transition is the shedding off which brings about the total change. “Change is not change until it is change” – Ed Cole
• Change is a process.
• The Bible talks about the potter working with clay until all of the rock and imperfections are taken out.
• We are to help men/women not only to make a decision for Christ, but also help them to change through the transition process.

Romans 12:2
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
• God wants the total area of transformation.
• Most people in the Body of Christ don’t make it through to transformation because there is no one to help them through the transition.
• G12, the Open Cell, the Encounter, and School of Leaders are designed to help individuals through the process of transition.
• Simply attending Church each Sunday is not enough.
• The flesh doesn’t have power unless your mind gives it.
• Our thinking controls our life.
• Watch your thoughts they become words, watch your words they become actions, watch your actions they become habits, watch your habits they become character, watch your character it becomes your destiny.
• Sometimes we take it for granted that when people accept Christ into their lives, they are going to automatically live right.
• Ninety-nine percent of people need help to go through transition because they still have their old thoughts.
• It takes a strong leader to get someone through transition.

Proverb 23:7
7For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. –
• As a man thinketh, so is he.
G12 Life Group Notes–December 6, 2009–6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Pg 2 of 2)

Isaiah 55: 7-9
7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
• God is talking to the unsaved.
• Some have never really changed because they have not gone through the transition that brings transformation.
• When people fail in transition, they think of going back to their old ways.
• We have to get people to start thinking Kingdom-minded.
• People need help.
• Everyone we know is going through some transition.
• Every one of our men/women is being trained to help other men/women.
• The biggest threat to the kingdom of darkness is when men/women begin to help other men/women.
• Ways and thoughts are two different things. All of our ways do not please God. We need to line up our thoughts with God’s thoughts.
• God is going to have mercy on the one’s that are going through transition, not the one standing still.
• If you are stuck in transition, you will start building idols.
• Idols can be anything, for example, money, house, car, clothes, drugs, etc.
• People will do what they really want to do.
• You can be around a strong leader, but you must take hold and believe the things of God for yourself.
• God wants our thoughts to be like His thoughts and that comes through transition.
• It takes time to go through the transition process and it cannot be rushed.

2 Timothy 2:19-21
19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
• Most men run from transition and submitting to a mentor or one in authority.
• Most people don’t want to work in ministry because they have not gone through the transition.
• Transition is the big issue.
• Our goal is not to be self-made men/women, but God-made men/women.
• “Don’t look at what people have, but what they need” – Pastor Phillip Goudeaux
• We need to strive to bring honor to God.
• We must continually work on ourselves.

G12 Life Group Notes–November 29, 2009–6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Pg 1 of 2)
Open in Prayer Song Testimonies Prayer of Three Witnessing Closed Cell

• There is a war for souls going on and we must stand in the gap for these men/women, instead of watching television, we need to spend 30 minutes standing in the gap – thanking God for the blood of Jesus and declaring the warring spirit destroyed from over their lives.
• There are spirits assigned over Sacramento, it is the capitol of California, and California is the most influential state in the United States, and the United States influences the world.
• Every time a man or woman dies unsaved, Satan takes joy in taking that soul to hell.

Acts 10:1-4
1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. 3He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
• If you have a need, you should sow a substantial seed for your breakthrough. This counteracts and gets God’s attention.
• When we are going through some thing, we should give a memorial gift.

Decision – Change – Transition – Transformation

• It’s an eternal decision. We should not let people back us down. Every day we are faced with decisions. G12 is about moving us through transitional points.
• If we are not aggressively attacking the forces of darkness, the forces of darkness will aggressively attack us.
• We need to intercede for people coming to church and receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior.
• We need to work the altar call. When we don’t work the altar call, it is like trying to catch water with your hand open and fingers spread out. We need to pray for the altar call.

Romans 12:1-2
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
• This is moving from decision, to change, to transformation.

G12 Life Group Notes–November 29, 2009–6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Pg 2 of 2)

Ephesians 4:17-25
17This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20But ye have not so learned Christ; 21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
• The vanity of our minds is what is holding us back.
• The vanity of your mind is thinking you are more than what you are.
• Once you are saved, Satan can’t make you do anything but he bombards you with different thoughts similar to a fisherman using different forms of bait.
• Once the door of sin is open, it multiplies.
• The open cell meetings help people move from change to transition.
• Lust always leads to sin, and sin always leads to death.
• The biggest issue we have is casting off the old man.
• Going to church is not going to transform you; however, you are in the right place to be transformed.
• Renewing your mind is an ongoing process.

Colossians 3:1-4
1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
• “Seeking” starts transformation.
• Setting your affections can work for or against you. We must be dead to our old past life.
• We need to intercede for souls and not hold our fingers open, but closed so the souls can be won and transformed.

Some people say they are saved, but don’t go to church. That is like saying you like food, but don’t want to eat.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

John 17:20-21
20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

• Jesus was asked when the kingdom was coming. He explained that it comes from inside of you.
• Change takes place on the outside, but the transformation takes place on the inside. For example, when you get married you make a decision and change occurs after you are married. Transformation - oneness in marriage brings about transformation.
• We must have a since of urgency for reaching the lost.
• Jesus asks, once He comes back, will He find faith? Faith is acting on the Word of God.
• Our culture is affected by many things. Islam is using wealth, education, legislation and the media in its strategy to universally establish Islamic law.
• Jesus came to affect culture and we need to be affecting people’s culture too. To change them from going the wrong way to the right way.
• The kingdom of God is within us.

John 3:5
5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

• There is only one way to get into the kingdom of God – we must be born of the water. Water represents the Word of God.
• We need to influence one another in a positive way.

G12 Life Group Notes–November 15, 2009–6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Pg 2 of 2)

John 18:36
36Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

• Jesus is saying His kingdom is not of this world. It is a different culture.
• Transformation takes longer than change. Without transformation the enemy will try to cause you to backslide by telling you what you had before Christ is better than what you have now.
• The old culture fights transformation. That is why relationships are so important.

Romans 14:17
17For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
• The kingdom of God is not all of the “stuff” we focus on, it is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
• We should be kingdom-minded and avoid getting caught up in “things” instead of the kingdom.

Matthew 6:33
33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

• The kingdom of God is more than just things, and that’s why when Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” God knows what you need.

Psalms 37:4
4Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

• God does not want you to go after things. He wants you to go after Him.

Witnessing Closed Cell

When God created heaven and earth, he created it for man to have dominion over it. God wanted to establish his Kingdom on earth. He wanted to bring heaven to earth. The problem now is that transformation must take place. We have confused transformation with change. Jesus never came to establish religion, but the Kingdom. Kingdom is how we live. G12 is about building the Kingdom.

Luke 9:2
Jesus was saying that we should go out and teach the Kingdom; this new way of living, this new culture. We must believe that we are anointed to make a difference in every person’s life that we meet. In faith, we should be confident that when we lay hands on someone, God will demonstrate his power. Too many people are waiting for the anointing. God is not going to anoint us until we step out in faith. The healing power of God shows that the Kingdom of God is greater than the kingdom of darkness. Darkness is represented by sickness, disease, poverty, lack, confusion, fear, worry, etc. When we stand in faith and believe God’s word, there is no satanic force that can not be defeated.
Faith is an activator. Faith is a rewarder

Luke 11: 14-22
Satan thought he had it all, but God is greater. Jesus was teaching that the Kingdom of God is stronger than satan’s kingdom.

Luke 16: 14-17
Just because there is a new Kingdom, it does not mean the elimination of the law. The principles or the law of God has not been done away with. The Kingdom of God did not enter in until after Jesus ascended to the right hand of the throne of God.

Daniel 2:44
God’s Kingdom will destroy all of satans.

Act 1:3
When Jesus came back from the dead, he was speaking about the Kingdom. The church has been stuck in change and not in transformation. Change is just the first step. Change is not transformation. You can have change without transformation, but you can not have transformation without change. When we witness to someone and they accept Christ in their life, we have brought about a change, but not a transformation. That’s where G12 comes in.
If satan can’t stop change, he will fight like hell to stop transformation.
G12 is about change and transformation. Transformation is the big issue. Transformation causes us to be more like Christ. The disciples became powerful once transformation occurred.
We have a bunch of changed people, but we need to be transformed.
We must not just think of winning souls. We need to think about winning our city, our state and our country, and our continent.

Romans 12:2
Don’t be just changed, but be transformed. Transformation comes from the inside out, not the outside in. Reading the word, being in church, fellowship, and study groups helps change you from the inside. Otherwise, you will always be influenced from the outside.
In G12, the win is the change. The discipleship is the transformation.
Discipleship is about helping people move from change to transformation.

Romans 8: 28-31
You still have your flesh to deal with. The only way to have victory over your flesh is to be transformed. Transformation is a process and a journey. Transformation takes place through the open cell, pre-encounter, encounter, post encounter, and the school of leaders.

Matthew 13:18
18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
• Question: How do you know you understand the Word? Answer: When you act upon it. It is your actions.
• What you understand, you act upon.
• The enemy will try to take the Word away because it has power.

Matthew 13:11, 24, 31, 33, 44
11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 31Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 44Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

• Jesus is talking about the kingdom of God.
• Muslims are trying to take over and they now outnumber Catholics as the world’s largest religion.
• Muslims don’t have a mentality for just souls. Their mentality is for kingdoms.
• They know if they can take kingdoms, they will get the souls. For example, the United States is a kingdom. Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, etc. are all kingdoms.
• In order to sustain itself, a culture needs a birthrate of 2.1. The countries mentioned above all have birthrates below 2.
• Muslims have a birthrate exceeding 8. Due to the lack of population growth in the above mentioned countries a future majority Muslim population in some European countries can be projected in 35 to 40 years.
• Most American families now have 1 or 2 children. Birth control and abortions play a large role with respect to American birthrates.
• Muslims are using oil money to affect the education system, media, political system, and other institutions.
• As Christians, we must have a greater representation in the political sphere. In our cities and states, the church must exert a greater influence.
• We must have Christian politicians, teachers, and professors.
• We need Christians in the news media.
• We must continue to be soul winners, however, we must also be kingdom-minded.
G12 Life Group Notes–November 1, 2009–6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Pg 2 of 2)

• We must incorporate in our children the mindset that they must get their education.
• If we are to take Sacramento, we must raise our level of thinking to be kingdom-minded.
• We must raise up politicians, media representatives, educators, business leaders, etc.
• Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “33But seek ye first the kingdom of God,…”
• We need to be more kingdom-minded than anything else. Being a Christian is being kingdom-minded.
• We need seminars, workshops, or leadership training for our youth.
• Our children must be stimulated and challenged to think more kingdom-minded.
• We need to be less self-minded.
• Education of our young people is the key.
• The devil is trying to destroy our youth.
• Destiny Ranch can be used as a training ground for our youth.
• We need to redefine our culture and think more broadly.

Mark 1:14
14Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
• It’s about kingdom principle. Jesus did not come in preaching religion; He came preaching a culture, a way of thinking.

Luke 4:43
43And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
• It wasn’t about just one city; it was about the kingdom of God taking over.
• Jesus was saying He had to kingdom build.
• Jesus was teaching the kingdom culture, the kingdom mindset, and the kingdom way of living.

Luke 8:1
1And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
• Jesus was getting the message of the kingdom of God out to the world.

ONCE WE GET SAVED, GOD GAVE US A PURPOSE:
1. TO WITNESS
2. TO MINISTER

Acts 26: 14-19
14And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 15And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 19Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
• God continually reveals things to us that He wants to do in our lives.
• We have experiences that we can share with people.
• In order for God to use us, we must be delivered.
• We are in the greatest harvest time ever. People are looking for answers.
• God told Paul that He was going to deliver him and then send him.
• We need to pray to God to use us.
• Our first harvest field should be our families.
• God wants us to reach the lost.
• God’s number one thing (#1) is for us to be a witness.
• It’s not called “the commission,” it’s called the “great commission.” It’s the greatest thing you can do.

Luke 1:74
74That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
• The enemy tries to use fear to stop us from witnessing.

Luke 1:79
79To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
• Our job everywhere we go is to bring people out of darkness.

G12 Life Group Notes–October 25, 2009–6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux (Pg 2 of 2)

NOTE: Google Evelyn Roberts. Study the Welsh Revival.

• God wants to use us NOW!
• We don’t have to be eloquent or educated, just willing.
• Christians don’t seem as motivated as other groups with respect to witnessing.
• People don’t want to just be ministered to, they want relationships. For example, we should not just minister to people, but pick them up and bring them to church.

Matthew 4:16
16The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
• Our job is to be the light to the world.
• We should not just be a light, but a great light.

HIGHLIGHTS OF VIDEO SHOWN
 We must return America back to God.
 There is a worldwide threat from Islam.
 In order for a culture to sustain itself a birthrate of 2.1 must be annually sustained.
 When we describe culture, we are talking about our way of living.
 Most European countries are well below this number.
 The United States has a birthrate of over 2, but this is in large measure the result of immigration from Mexico.
 The Islamic culture has an annualized birthrate of 8.
 The Islamic population is growing rapidly in some European countries, and if present trends continue they will gain control and establish Islamic republic’s through their sheer numbers.
 Catholicism was once the largest religion. Islam has now surpassed it.
 Christianity has suffered from two major issues: 1) Abortion, and 2) Lack of Evangelism.
 We must take a righteous stand against anything that threatens our way of life.
 We must be greater witnesses and return back to America.

Mark 16:19
19So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
• They went forth. Every day we should look forward to going forth.
• The Lord was working with them. God will always work with you when you are following His will.
• To get positive results you have to be positive.

4 Points
1. They went forth. This demonstrates action, commitment, and faith.
2. Preaching everywhere – they were testifying.
3. Lord working with them – every day we should be going forth. God will work with us.
4. Confirming the Word with signs following. Because we have right relationship with God, any time we minister, pray or talk, we should expect God to confirm His Word with signs following.
• It’s a principle. You must set goals. Your goals will establish your blueprint.

QUESTION: Where do you want to be by this time next month, or in six months or even a year from now?

• You should not try to do too many things at once. Take baby steps.
• If we just focus on our 12, we will get there.
Follow these steps:
 Sit with the men/women in your G12 group on Sundays.
 Pray for the altar call.
 Call you G12 men/women each week. Ask how many souls have been won.
 If they have a silver pin, they should have an open cell. If they do not have an open cell, find out when they plan to start one and assist them.

QUESTION: Why do you need an open cell? ANSWER: To impart the vision, to catch, and to increase the Kingdom of God.
• There is warfare going on to contain us.
• Anything not growing is dying. Anything alive is growing.
• We must be consumed.

I Corinthians 3:9
9For we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

• Complacency and contentment is a big issue.
• We are laborers together with God.
• We have to acknowledge that we are laborers with God each day.
• We must set a time aside each day to witness.
• Husbandry is cultivation.
• God is bringing out the best in us.
• We are the project God is working on so that we will have the resources to give and work with others.
• The worst thing you can have in cultivation is a bad seed.
• We are not here by happenstance.
• People may not know us, but God knows us.
• When we believe that every day we are laborers with God, we will know we have to go forth.
• We have to take the anointing of husbandry.
• God is working on us, we are His husbandry and He is working on us to work on our G12 men/women.
• It is not the position you serve in the church (ex. usher, deacon, greeter, etc.), but rather it is about your soul winning.
• Satan will sometimes use subtle warfare to keep you mediocre.
• Read the book of Nehemiah.
• Subtle warfare might include things like thinking “I can serve God without making Him first in my life.”
• The only reason we have not gotten our 144 is because we do not see ourselves as God sees us.

“When you start valuing what God values then you start experiencing the value of what God has placed in you.” Pastor Goudeaux

• We need to ask God to help us prioritize our lives. To help us strategize to achieve our goals.
• It is about building the Kingdom of God… ”and they went forth, and [they began to] preach everywhere, and the Lord working with them and confirming [His] the Word.” (Mark 16:20)

2 Kings 13:1; 14-19
1In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years. 14Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. 15And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows. 16And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. 17And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them. 18And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. 19And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

Exodus 32:29
29: For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
• There is a shift taking place in the church. God is blessing His people through consecration.
• Consecration means we are devoted, dedicated, and giving it all to Him.
• There are different times that God calls for consecration to receive blessings.

I Chronicles 29:5
5: The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?
• When God built the temple, everything was dedicated to Him.

Proverbs 23:26
26: My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
• God wants our hearts. We have to give our hearts to Him.
• We have a choice where our heart goes.
• The heart and attitude of the heart go together.

Proverbs 4:20-23
20: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
• The measure of the heart given will determine your blessings.
• How much of our hearts have we given to God?
• We need our hearts to be in line with God.
• The measure of your heart given will determine your destiny.
• The measure of your heart given will determine your blessings.
• God is only held back by the amount of our heart we give Him.
• Everything is targeted at our hearts: music, videos, movies, books, etc.
• Where your heart is – your treasures are.
• God wants us to learn from each other.

Romans 12:1
1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
• Beseech means to beg, plead, to cry out.
• Brethren means, he is speaking to the saints, not to heathens.
• Present means to yield to your heart.
• Sacrifice is what God demands.
• God made a sacrifice when He gave his Son.

Genesis 22
• Abraham had to pass the test. He had to: 1) leave his father; 2) believe God was going to bless him with a child, and 3) when Isaac was between 18 to 21 years old, God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.
• Sacrifice demands for us to give up something we love for something that is greater.
• People want a blessing without sacrifice.
• God wants us to sacrifice to bring the next level of prosperity. It is the order of God.
• Many want the next level of blessings without the next level of sacrifice.
• Our flesh doesn’t like sacrifice, our soul doesn’t like sacrifice, and even sometimes, our spirit-man will fight against sacrifice.

I Kings 17:9
9Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
• The widow woman was in a major recession.
• God sent the man of God to bring her out of her crisis, but it was not going to happen without sacrifice on her part.
• The water did not cost her anything.
• The cake did cost and it was a sacrifice.
• Sacrifice is another form of consecration.
• In order to get to where we want to go, it requires sacrifice.
• God brought a supernatural blessing to the widow woman.
• Some people never get the greater blessing because they don’t understand sacrifice.
• Our first sacrifice to God is ourselves.

II Timothy 2:21
21: If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
• If you ever want to look for an excuse you will find one.
• We don’t become a vessel of honor until we consecrate, sacrifice, and become meet for the Master’s use.
