2 Kings 13:1; 14-19
1In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years. 14Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. 15And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows. 16And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. 17And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them. 18And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. 19And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.
• The scripture talks about Elisha and the King of Israel.
• The man of God told the king to do something; however, he did not do it fully.
• He demonstrated half-hearted service therefore; he did not receive all that God had desired to do for him.
• Pastor Goudeaux is our man of God and we are the kings.
• With respect to G12, how many times has Pastor asked us to do something and we did not do it fully?
• Pastor is our mentor. A mentor is someone whose hindsight can be our foresight.
• We must support the vision of our man of God.
• The motivation must be to win the lost.

Revelation 3:2-3
2Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
• We must get to a greater level of maturity in our lives so that our work gets to a higher level.
• We must work smarter and avoid wasting time on unproductive things.
• We must chart our path and get there -- No Excuses!

II Corinthians 4:18
18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
• We must keep our eyes on the eternal things.
James 4:7-8
7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
• We must submit and draw near to God.
• How is your prayer life?
• How is your fasting?
• We should be focused on God.
• God is telling us to work on ourselves.
