Why Does God Give Vision

G12 Life Group Notes– November 10, 2013 – 6:30 a.m. Pastor Goudeaux Open in Prayer Song - Testimonies Prayer of Three Witnessing Receive Offering Why Does God Give Vision Ezekiel 40:2-4 2 In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south 3 And he brought me thither, and behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed, and he stood in the gate 4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee, for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither, declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. God reveals His Will and His Plan in our lives • Vision brings restoration to the (people) and to the (church) • You can be in the Kingdom, but still walk in darkness • People with no vision perish; you must have vision Acts 9:5 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. To open our minds and heart by vision • Paul’s conviction was so strong that he had to be obedient • He had a change of mind and a change of heart after his encounter • He said, “Lord, what would you have me to do” Genesis 15: 4-5 4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. To show you your true potential • God will give you a vision to show you your potential • To give you guidance and direction • Vision takes you to new levels in your life Luke 16:12 12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? Ezekiel 37:3-5 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. 4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. 5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: • Do you want to go to another level? • Prophesize over your people • Ezekiel spoke to the dry bones; he didn’t leave them the same way • Can your 12 get 12? - Do You Know? - What are you saying unto them? • Every Christian’s Destiny is Leadership • The process to achieve this goal is for everyone to be in a Life Group • Then eventually each person should host a Life Group • You should be inspiring and encouraging people to go through the process: “The Pathway to Connecting to Calvary Christian Center” • The process is: Pre Encounter, Encounter, Path to Belonging, Path to Involvement, and Path to Understanding Your Purpose Quick Life Group tips from Pastor Goudeaux: • You should be helping your 12 get their 12 • Pastor’s desire is for you to have a G-12 meeting every week and a Life Groups meeting once a month • If you have a Life Group (only) you should meet as often as you can • People need you! Remember, Life Group is a feeder (a place where people fellowship until they show themselves faithful with their classes etc.) After that is accomplished, they move to a G-12 Life Group (which is a closed cell)
